Euro Zen, hair transplantation center active in Besiktas district has a decision to make a new investment with its contemporary hair transplantation center at Torunlar plaza in Mecidiyeköy region for its overseas patients. It was specifically requested by the employer to have the characteristics that will impress the patients and their relatives by means of high quality interiror design.
Entrance hall has a total area of 200sqm with a ceiling hight of 500cm. which is designed as an area where people will wait and spend spare time. The cafeteria, designed for the use of hair transplantation patients, relatives of patients and medical personnel, is designed in a location adjacent to entrance hall. How to deal with excesive highness of the ceiling comparing to surface area of the entrance hall, was the challenge of design. Instead of building a solid ceiling, it is decided to design a functional and impressive illumunant object to fill that volume. In line with this idea, 19 piece, each with diemension of 200cmX150cm hexagonal based pramidal mega chandelier designed. This chandelier has colors that are compatible with the seating groups beneath it, and chandeliers and seating groups complement each other.
Cafeteria and reseption desk with its orange color is thought to be the focal point of the hair transplantation centre. The reception desk was considered as a formally associated whole with the cafeteria counter. The reception desk is shaped in conformity with the hexagonal forms of the lighting elements.
Operating rooms of hair transplantation centre are lined in two sides of U-shaped corridor and is connected with entrance hall and cafeteria by two photocell doors. The boss room is designed to be adjacent to the short side of the entrance hall in a commanding position and having natural light.
